Chief Lending Officer

This individual will oversee all functions of the loan department.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, analyzing, organizing, and directing the Credit Union's consumer and residential (mortgage and home equity line of credit and junior lien) loans,
  • Member insurance products
  • Asset recovery/collections
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of Credit Union policies, procedures, and goals
  • Development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures that shall comply with external regulations
  • Maximizing lending activities to generate quality loan volume that is profitable to the Credit Union and is also in the member's best interest
  • Support and lead the consumer loan, residential loan, and collection departments
  • Institute department structure that fosters the development of an effective and knowledgeable team while ensuring that all lending services are professionally delivered and members are well served.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/related field or an equivalent combination of formal training
    and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Credit Union loan products and applicable policies and standards
  • Understanding government regulations and legal requirements involving lending, collections, insurance, and related functions
  • Understanding of components of a financial statement and tax return
  • Five to ten years of progressive lending experience in a Credit Union or similar financial
    institution
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, managerial, and problem-solving abilities
  • A high level of analytical skills
  • Proficient in operating related computer applications and business equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Sign on bonus if hired:  $300.00 upon hire, $300.00 after three months, $600.00 after six months. Must meet certain requirements to be eligible for the sign on bonus

Branch Manager

Directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch.  Oversees staff performance and development ensuring compliance with federal, state, and legal regulations and Credit Union policies and procedures.  Assists in handling complex member inquiries.  Works to grow the Credit Union by establishing relationships with businesses in the community.  Responsible for vault security and daily cash balancing.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree (AA) emphasis in Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school preferred
  • At least six years related experience and/or training; three years being in a supervisory position and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

Assistant Branch Manager

The responsibilities of the position are to assist with the direction of Branch operations.  This will include servicing members promptly and courteously, training and developing junior staff members, and ensuring set goals are achieved as well as cross sells appropriate products and services.  You will monitor staff transactions for adherence to regulatory and legal requirements and Credit Union policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies
  • Understanding of Teller/Member Service Representative functions
  • Two to five years of related operational experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Teller

No experience needed.  We will train you.

Your daily tasks will include basic member requests such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. As you grow in knowledge and competency additional types of transactions will be added to your skill set.  You will be able to process credit card payments, loan payments and cross sell other services.

The ability to assist members in a friendly, professional manner and desire to continuously learn will help you to succeed as a teller.

Member Support 

Using your knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services, you assist members calling in with questions, making payments, or needing help navigating Credit Union applications.  A keen sense of listening skills aids you in identifying the member’s need and quickly analyzing and resolving the problem.  Your interaction with members is always prompt and courteous.  You are able to accurately record details of each call while adhering to Federal and State regulations and company policies.

 

Qualifications

  • 1-year prior experience in a member service role at a full-service financial institution
  • General knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures
  • High school graduate or equivalent
